We drive through spectacular countryside’s full of rice fields, observing farmers at work, and small villages providing us plenty of opportunities to stop and capture some amazing photos along the way, arriving at the village around noon time. After lunch and a relax we take a casual stroll through the neighboring Lac Village to observe the locals going about their daily business; cultivating the fields, catching grasshoppers, logging or grazing buffalo’s before heading back to the village for some time to explore the surrounding areas. In the evening, we are spoilt with a traditional music and dance show, performed by the locals within the village, finished off with a jar of homemade rice wine for you to enjoy. Awakening to the ‘Mai Chau melodies’, we enjoy a wonderful home cooked breakfast before bidding farewell to our hosts for our return journey to Hanoi. Upon return to Hanoi we make a stop at Van Phuc silk village, situated on the banks of Nhue Thi River, which has been well known for its traditional sericulture, weaving, and silk products for centuries. We arrive back to Hanoi in the late afternoon. Trip ends.
